qualified OR RN in Oregon City, Oregon, 97045 About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Operating Room Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year of
experience required License: OR license required (can submit if
pending) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - EPIC charting
experience - Completion of 40 hours of orientation Job Description:
- The nurse will work in the Surgical Services department during
night shifts. - Expected patient-nurse ratios range from 1:3 to
1:5. - Nurses will not be required to work on weekends or be on
call. - Block schedules are uncertain. - Flu vaccine requirement is
currently unknown. - Nurses may be required to float between units
and to nearby affiliated hospitals. - The facility type is Short
Term Acute Care, with a capacity of 109 beds. - Scrub colors are
provided, with any color acceptable in specific departments. -
COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical and religious
exemptions allowed. - Travel nurses are expected to work 3 out of
the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day,
New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. - Orientation hours are
non-billable, and modules completed pre-start are self-reported. -
A one-year reference covering employment within the last three
years is necessary. - Communication devices will be provided if
required for the assignment. Additional Information: - Candidates
must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule. - Background checks will be
handled prior to submission, with any issues requiring approval. -
Return staff must have a 3-month gap between permanent and travel
assignments. - Completion of job-related modules should average 16
hours but are non-billable. - Commitment to limited requested time
