Job Description:

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to fill a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Track and triage coverage determination requests for prior authorizations
Obtain verbal authorizations and request clinical information from prescribers
Document coverage determination decisions and notify providers and members

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of residence
PTCB, CPhT, or NHA national certification required
2+ years of retail, hospital, or mail order pharmacy technician experience
Ability to type 50 WPM
