Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Mechanical Assembler job in Portland, OR. This is a long-term temporary opportunity. As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for assembling a number of products and machines using a variety of hand tools. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

The Mechanical Assembler will:

Perform basic and routine Mechanical Assembly, as well as optical and functional inspection operations at various stages of production.

Use schematics or blueprints, as well as verbal and written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or reassemble various components/units.

Requirements

Required Skills for Mechanical Assemblers include the following:

Mechanical Assembly experience required

Must possess Manufacturing experience

Must be able to perform repetitive and/or complex tasks and complete them on time

Must be able to show proficiency when using various hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, crimpers, etc.

Vision requirements include close, distant, color and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Must also be able to multi-task and demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to clear a background check and drug screen

Must have reliable transportation to NE Portland
