Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our Prepared Foods department, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Development: Lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Operational Excellence: Assist the Team Leader in achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets, while maintaining high standards of retail execution.
• Customer Service: Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Team Management: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Performance Evaluation: Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations to support Team Member growth and development.Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
